When my kundalini energy awakened I started seeing snakes everywhere: on TV, newspapers, I heard conversations about snakes and even dreamed about them. I felt the kundalini energy moving in me and causing physical discomfort. I felt pressure and buzzing in my ears and during one night it was almost unbearable, I started even fearing that I would not be able to remain sane
As I sat on my mat, a bat-man-signal-like light emanated from the top of my head, then the Lord spoke to my heart and said "Yoga is bodily worship of idols and it yokes you to spirits seeking worship. It always has been and always will". I then saw that the very poses attracted dark wisps of spirits who sought to be worshipped and signaled them that I was "open". I woke up in a fright to say the least. My arms were flailing in front of my face and I was gasping for air. Something heavy hung in the air, and I felt like I was drowning under deep, black water and the pressure on my chest was unbearable. The most aweful vibrations and sound were reverberating through my like knives, and I swear I could hear crying and growling through a sound so loud and obnoxious that I should not have been able to hear anything else. The sound was like a fog-horn or train whistle, or like that line from Dumb and Dumber when he asks if you want to hear the most annoying sound ever.
